Sustainability

Sustainability is another pillar of our operation and we want to ensure that we are mindful of the environment through our practices. A few ways that cattle help the environment are:

• Cattle can help us combat global warming and help restore the ground to its natural state. Their waste contains methane that goes back into the earth restoring carbon to the soil.
• Cattle graze on land that might not have been used otherwise, and typically cannot be used for other farming. 
• Grazing cattle help stimulate new growth by promoting seed germination through walking on the grasslands and fertilizing the land. Their consumption helps create plant biodiversity.
